Special Events:
Company party? Shower? Birthday picnic? Whatever your event might be, the Brown bag can help you put on a great event. I provide servers to set-up, maintain and clean-up or I can simply deliver your menu to your party location, whichever you prefer. And if you're looking for a custom menu, we have endless ideas to make sure event is one guests will be talking about for months to come.
Event prices are based on an hourly rate, plus groceries, with a $300 minimum. Servers and additional kitchen help are extra. Call for pricing.
Cooking Demonstrations:
"In" is the New "Out"
A refreshing alternative to a “girls’ night out” is a “girls’ night in”. With spiraling gas prices and universal belt tightening, why not enjoy the comforts of each other’s homes, each one unique and full of undiscovered pleasures for friends and visitors.
I Don’t Have to Cook?
What if none of the girls, including the hostess, had to cook or bring a dish? There’d be more time to relax, dish the dirt and enjoy each other’s company. So who’s going to provide the meal? the Brown Bag!
Dining in With a Demo
Just leave the shopping and the food preparation to me. I’ll collude with the hostess, plan the menu, bring the food and prepare a sumptuous meal while you sip a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the deom. It’s a collaborative process where everyone gets to participate and share ideas, ingredients, tips and techniques.
Once dinner’s on the table, I’ll leave you to enjoy your freshly prepared cuisine and each other’s company.
Additional Pricing and Info:
- All client assessments are complementary.
- Delivery fee of $30.00 will be added to each special event or cooking demos.
- Delivery charges will be waved if demos are conducted in my home.
- Contract agreement and deposits will be required for any special event and cooking demo.

the Brown bag supports local farmers and is an organic friendly company. I pride myself on serving fresh food, so my food is made and served the day of your event. I specialize in food intolerance catering. All of my recipes are modified so that everyone can enjoy their meals, regardless of food allergies or finicky palates.
Ordering:
To ensure that we provide you with an outstanding experience, we request a minimum of 48 hours notice for all catering orders. Cancellations of catering without 48 hours notice may result in a 35% cancellation fee.
Prices and selections may change without notice. Please call for current selections and pricing.
Delivery:
Delivery charges may very by location. Catering includes beyond the lobby presentation. We take pride in both setting up and serving for you.
Need utensils? We are happy to provide plates, napkins & plastic-ware for a nominal fee of $.75 per person.
Deposit:
A 50% deposit is required 10 days before the event or immediately upon booking if there are less than 10 days until the event. Final payment will be due at time of delivery. I accept cash or check.
