To Drive Thru or Not To Drive Thru?

Come on. Is that even a question anymore? We've all been exposed to information about the dangers of fast food via movies like Super Size Me and Food Inc. and reality t.v shows like The Biggest Looser. Not only does fast food blow through your daily allotment of calories, it also has little to no nutritional value. I know, I know, it's convenient. Well that's what I'm here for.

Take a look at what one conversation with a clown with an over-sized head can cost you for one meal...and I don't mean money.

Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger--  1020 calories with 71 grams of fat

Regular French Fried-------------     350 calories and 16 grams of fat

Soda-----------------------------------    190 calories

Now let's put this into perspective. The average man's caloric daily intake is about 2000-2200 calories. For women it is anywhere between 1300 and 1500 calories a day. Now don't take these numbers to the bank as there are many factors, such as height, age and weight goal...(are you looking to loose weight or maintain?) But for argument's sake, the point I'm trying to make is this. If you are a woman whose ideal caloric daily intake is 1300, then this one trip to the clown has blown your allowance with just one meal. And we're not even addressing the fact that these calories are empty and that your body is craving nutrition.

Makes you think doesn't it? The clown isn't so funny anymore.
